Last week I bought stir-fry beef from our beef guy and went to pinterest to find a recipe. I looked at several but had the ingredients (at least most of them) to make this Mongolian beef. I added snow peas and used tamari, but otherwise followed the recipe. The person that pinned it was correct that coating the beef in cornstarch was a pain and next time I won’t do that. I would add cornstarch at the end to thicken the sauce. Or not. I’m sure it’s delicious either way. I might have tasted it a few times while I was cooking the beef.
I think the tamari made it a little saltier than I was expecting, but it was still pretty tasty (and DH likes really salty food). I had the leftovers the next day and when DH was cleaning that dish, he was wishing there was more left over. This recipe is going into the rotation 🙂
